2012 – Thank YOU Portland Families!!!

Dear Portland Family Readers,

It’s important you know how much your readership, community participation, love and support means to me. Each month is a challenge and opportunity for me to consider sharing stories I hope will enlighten and improve the quality of your life and the life you share with your family. I recognize the vast combination of joy and sorrow, hope and healing and doing the best we can, each day, as parents. Our children are indeed, the center of our universe!

In order to instill encouragement and inspiration into our children, I believe there is a very important place in our society and local community for POSITIVE news. We must learn and hear about people making a difference; We must understand the power we hold to impact each other. Above all, have the reminder, the ever-present constant reminder, that we have a designated time in space to love.

Here are a few wishes for you and your family in 2013:

1. May you and your children be blessed with good health. This is a precious gift not to be taken for granted.

2. I hope you find as much meaningful fulfillment in your daily life and routine as you do in your grandest accomplishments and adventures. As swiftly as life goes by, much of what transpires happens before our eyes and passes before we even know it.

3. I wish your children acquire and covet the love of learning. If we can raise a new generation of curious and inspired, perhaps we can craft the platform for a better future.

4. Please explore and play with what makes you, as an individual, happy. True passion is the capacity to engage in a soul-full endeavor without the expectation of an outcome.
